What is different?
The new macOS 14 Sonoma operating system for the Mac has brought some technical changes that mean that exporting can no longer be done as it was before. This means quite specifically:
The original clean Word file does not remain, but is always replaced by the new one
Word remains open after the export and does not save the document automatically
What does this mean for me?
Proceed as follows: After the export
Save the document as "Save As" (Command + Shift + S)
2. Give the file the appropriate filename
Tip: Please always duplicate your Word file manually before exporting or have a clean copy of the file in a safe place. If the clean export template is no longer available, you can download it again below.
